Who We Are and How We Work
Valor Inter Plata is a Toy Poodle kennel registered with the FCI and the Real Sociedad Canina de España (RSCE),
with a recognized kennel name and an officially authorized Núcleo Zoológico in the Valencian Community.
Our work is carried out in accordance with current regulations and with a long-term commitment to the health,
welfare, and responsible breeding of the breed.
Our story began in 1997 with the De Sierra Mariola kennel name, registered in my husband's name.
Over those years, our family gained the experience that still forms the foundation of everything we do today.
In 2015, I registered my own kennel name, Valor Inter Plata, dedicated exclusively to the Toy Poodle. Since then, all our breeding and selection efforts have focused solely on this breed. For many years, our website was known as caniche-toy.es. After losing that domain, all our official content and our entire project continue at caniche-toy.com.

What is a dog kennel?
For some people, it's simply a place where puppies are born. For us, it's a way of life.
My grandmother bred Poodles at a time when Toy Poodles were only just beginning to appear. Back then, I never imagined those dogs would become such an important part of my life.
Later I studied Biology, and I discovered that this profession changes the way you see the world forever. A carrot is no longer just a carrot—you start thinking about genetics.
A red Poodle is no longer just a red dog—you see genes, polygenes, modifiers, and inheritance. It's an occupational hazard... and there's no cure for it.
When Paco and I met, we both already had children of our own. Today we also have grandchildren. They come to visit and then return home. The Poodles, however, have always been with us. They have shared our daily lives through many generations. Sometimes we buy a puppy to introduce new bloodlines, only to discover our own dogs in its pedigree twenty or thirty years back. That's when we realize just how long we've been doing this.
For us, a kennel has never been just a business. It is a way of life.
Of course, we have puppies. But what truly fascinates us is understanding the Toy Poodle better every day. We study genetics, health, behaviour, breeding, training, grooming, and everything related to the breed. All that knowledge, gathered over decades, is the foundation of this website.
We originally created it for the families of our puppies, so they would always have a reliable place to find answers. Over time, it became much more than we ever expected. Today it includes hundreds of articles, illustrations, and videos, and is probably one of the most comprehensive sources of information about the Toy Poodle that we have found. And we're still expanding it.
Our goal is simple: anyone looking for information about the Toy Poodle should find almost everything they need here. Although, knowing this wonderful breed, we're quite sure it will always give us one more reason to keep learning.
Our Spaces
Our dogs live in an environment designed with attention to every detail. It’s not just about
having space, but about how that space influences their development. We have several areas,
each with its own purpose.
A large park with structures and elements designed not only for stimulation,
but also for something as practical as preventing grass from getting caught in their coat.
Because even the smallest details matter.
We also have several areas
with two-level houses.
These are not store-bought structures.
They are our own designs, created and adapted based on our experience —
and on how dogs actually
live and move.
Movement is part of everyday life. That’s why we have a fitness area where we work on coordination, balance, and confidence. We also include low-impact activities, such as water work, to strengthen the body.
Our spaces are not just facilities.
They are a living environment, designed for dogs to develop in a natural and balanced way.
Canine SPA
Poodle care goes beyond grooming and bathing. There is a less visible but equally important part: the health of the skin, the coat, and the overall well-being of the dog.
That’s why we have developed our own care approach, using natural elements and plant-based treatments. Not as an occasional solution, but as part of regular care.

Everything starts much earlier. All our dogs have pedigrees and completed genetic testing. The selection of breeding dogs is neither quick nor random.
In many cases, we have taken the time to find exactly the lines we were looking for, even outside our country.
Because breeding is not just about pairing two dogs.
It’s about understanding what you want to build
and working consistently at every step.
