🐩🩶 Our Silver Toy Poodles

 Silver Toy Poodles hold a very special place in our kennel.

They were the very first color we started with many years ago and, although today we share our lives with many different colors, the silver Toy Poodle remains one of our favorites. Perhaps because there is something different about them.

Some colors catch your attention immediately. Silver does not always do that. It is softer. More subtle.

But something curious happens: you look at it once and you like it. You look again and you like it even more. After a while, you understand why so many people eventually fall in love with this color.

We like to call it silver velvet.

The Silver Toy Poodle, also known as the Gray Toy Poodle, has a quiet elegance. It does not need to demand attention to be noticed. The contrast between the gray coat, black pigmentation and dark eye rims creates a very special expression. Sometimes it looks as if they are wearing natural makeup.

And it has a little magic of its own.

 Silver Toy Poodle puppies are born very dark. In fact, many of them look completely black during their first months of life. More than one person has been surprised to see that seemingly black puppy gradually transform into an elegant gray Toy Poodle.

After all these years, we still enjoy watching that transformation. We know perfectly well what is going to happen... but it never stops feeling like a small miracle.

When we started with silver poodles, this color was still quite rare in Spain.

We searched for a long time and found very few dogs. One of our first dogs came from Argentine lines. Later came dogs from the United States. Then came dogs from Russia.

Little by little, generation after generation, we built our own Silver Toy Poodle line.

Today we can say that our silver dogs are a truly international blend of  lines. A small silver cocktail created through years of selection, experience and genuine love for this color.

But beyond pedigrees, titles and countries of origin, we still appreciate exactly the same things we did at the beginning.

Their elegance. Their softness.

And that strange ability gray poodles have to become more beautiful the longer you live with them.
