Apricot Toy Poodle: a classic color that never disappears

Over the last few years, more and more people started looking for red poodles. Red became fashionable, appeared everywhere, and naturally attracted a lot of attention.

And meanwhile, apricot quietly stayed there.

Softer.
Warmer.
Less “dramatic” at first glance… but incredibly beautiful when properly developed.

In fact, anyone who has worked with poodles for many years knows perfectly well that a good apricot is not simply “a lighter red”.

Even though standards constantly change and today red and apricot are grouped together under the same fawn category, many breeders still continue working with these lines separately in practice. And honestly… after doing it this way for so many years, we are simply used to it 🙂

Because apricot has its own characteristics.

It should not look dull.
It should not fade until all expression disappears.
And it should not become uneven or lifeless with time.

A well-bred apricot toy poodle keeps that warm, glowing appearance even as it matures.

And besides, apricot has something that never goes out of style:
it simply always looks elegant.

It has a very natural kind of beauty.
It does not need to constantly demand attention in order to look beautiful.

In our breeding program we continue working with carefully selected apricot lines developed over many years, paying special attention to:

— warm, clean shades
— good color stability during growth
— coat quality and density
— true toy size
— and balanced temperament

Because in the end, a good poodle is about much more than color alone.

We are currently continuing the renovation and expansion of our website, which is why some information is still missing and not all of our apricot dogs appear here yet.

Some are expecting puppies, others recently had litters, and some are simply waiting for new photo and video sessions 🙂
We will continue updating this page gradually as the website renovation progresses.
